Managing Director of Oxford Consulting & Training Ltd, and a certified consultant and trainer in cooperative capacity building, microfinance, human development, gender equality, and women’s empowerment. He is a member of the Co‑operative College Manchester. Served as a senior consultant, researcher, and cooperative trainer with the United Nations Development Programme in Sudan, a researcher and consultant with the Mediterranean Association for Sustainable Development on peace and development issues. He also worked as an advisor on cooperation and cooperative affairs (2019–2021) at the Sudanese Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Mai Hassan is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in authoritarian regimes, bureaucracy, and public administration. Her book Regime Threats and State Solutions: Bureaucratic Loyalty and Embeddedness in Kenya examines how political leaders manage bureaucracies and has received multiple international awards. Her research has been published in leading political science journals. She holds a PhD in Government from Harvard University and previously taught at the University of Michigan and Stanford University.

A researcher in the political economy of development, a media expert, and a publisher, with experience as a correspondent for United Press International in the Horn of Africa and as an analyst of Sudanese and regional affairs on international media platforms. He led an expert advisory team, supported by the Center for International Private Enterprise and the European Union, that developed the “730 Days for Economic Reform” program for Sudan’s planned transitional government. He previously chaired the Committee on Good Governance and Democracy of the African Peer Review Mechanism (2015) under NEPAD. He serves on the boards of several public institutions and research centers, is a member of the Council of the University of Khartoum, and has published widely on Sudan’s political and economic affairs, including several books.

An international lawyer and public policy expert with extensive experience working across the Middle East and North Africa. He serves as the Executive Director of the Arab Reform Initiative, a leading regional think tank with offices in Paris, Beirut, and Tunis, dedicated to social justice, democratic reform, and accountable governance. Before joining the Initiative, Houry founded and led the Beirut office of Human Rights Watch for ten years, before moving to Paris as Director of the organization’s Counterterrorism Program. He has published widely and is frequently cited in local and international media. Houry holds degrees in law, political science, and economics from McGill University.

A physician and expert in public health and medical disaster management, with extensive experience in health emergency systems. She has worked in various government roles and with UN agencies, international NGOs, and the African Development Bank on multiple health projects. Her expertise includes emergency planning, response, and recovery, with over 10 years of experience managing outbreaks such as cholera, viral hemorrhagic fevers, and respiratory influenza. She has also participated in conflict-response training related to local tribal conflicts and was part of the Darfur recovery team with the World Health Organization. Following the 2019 revolution, she served as Director General of Health in Kassala State, one of Sudan’s most emergency-prone regions.

Management consultant, policy adviser, and strategic expert with over 20 years of experience in public policy and development across the Middle East and North Africa. He holds an MBA from Halifax University, a certificate in Economic and Political Development in Developing Countries from the London School of Economics, and a Public Leadership credential from Harvard Kennedy School. He currently serves as Senior Policy and Strategy Adviser at the Dubai Health Authority, where he designs policies to ensure regulatory balance and optimize healthcare spending. He is also the founder of the Dubai Health Authority’s Policy Innovation Club, a platform that promotes innovation in health policy.
